Safe & Effective

Phototherapy is safe for most patients, including those who are pregnant, elderly or immuno-compromised. Protective grid prevents accidental contact with the lamps, and UV blocking eyewear is provided.

Maximum Efficiency

The 7 Series utilizes Daavlin’s signature double door design to maximize the amount of light that the skin receives and facilitates treatment of all body shapes and sizes. Door lamps double body coverage and cut treatment times in half. The doors also conceal and protect the lamps from breakage when the unit is not in use. Special ballasts and uniquely formed reflectors give the 7 Series a high output which ensures that treatment times are brief.

Precision Dosing

Daavlin’s optional integrating dosimetry system provides consistent treatment by continually measuring the energy output in real-time. Your unit will always deliver the correct dose regardless of the factors that can affect treatment times, such as lamp age, room temperature, or line voltage.

ClearLink Controlled

Daavlin’s ClearLink™ touch-screen controller is easy to use and ensures that each treatment is delivered safely and effectively.

Guided Mode:

Patient doses are automatically adjusted based on time between treatments and the patient’s response to therapy.

A built-in sensing system called integrating dosimetry measures light output and adjusts the length of each treatment.

Guided Mode ensures that the physician’s treatment instructions are followed exactly.

Dosimetric Mode:

As with Guided Mode, the system measures the light being produced and adjusts the treatment time accordingly, delivering a consistently accurate treatment regardless of lamp age or room temperature. Doses are entered in Joules or MilliJoules, depending on the type of lamps prescribed.

Patient treatments are not auto-adjusted as with Guided Mode.

Timed Mode:

The patient enters a treatment time in minutes and seconds and the device automatically shuts off when the prescribed time has been reached.

There is no auto-adjustment of the treatment regimen in the Timed Mode.
