Designed for effective and efficient treatment of the hands or feet
The M Series
offers versatility and effectiveness. Primarily used to treat the hands and feet, the M Series also doubles as a panel device when the hood is removed.
Safety
Hands and feet rest on an acrylic shield that prevents direct contact with the lamps and is easy to clean. The ClearLink-controlled M Series offer a programmable lock-out feature that prevents unauthorized use. When activated, the user must enter a code to operate the unit.
Maximum Efficiency
The M Series devices are smaller and lighter than comparable competitive units. The use of high-efficiency, U-shaped lamps, along with lamps in the hood, means you can treat both the top and bottom of the hands or feet at the same time, making treatment time drastically shorter.
Versatility
The hood can be removed and the unit turned on end or mounted on a wall for treatment of small, localized areas. An optional table with castors accommodates two M Series units for simultaneous treatment of hands and feet.
Flexible Control
The M Series is controlled by Daavlin’s ClearLink Controller; an intuitive, touch-screen control system that makes entering treatments easier than ever.
Guided Mode:
Patient doses are automatically adjusted based on time between treatments and the patient’s response to therapy.
A built-in sensing system called integrating dosimetry measures light output and adjusts the length of each treatment.
Guided Mode ensures that the physician’s treatment instructions are followed exactly.
Dosimetric Mode:
As with Guided Mode, the system measures the light being produced and adjusts the treatment time accordingly, delivering a consistently accurate treatment regardless of lamp age or room temperature. Doses are entered in Joules or MilliJoules, depending on the type of lamps prescribed.
Patient treatments are not auto-adjusted as with Guided Mode.
Timed Mode:
The patient enters a treatment time in minutes and seconds and the device automatically shuts off when the prescribed time has been reached.
There is no auto-adjustment of the treatment regimen in the Timed Mode.
